Providence Design: garden design, build and maintain

Providence Design is a garden design, build and maintenance firm based in Brewster, New York, serving estates and country properties in Putnam, Westchester, Dutchess and Columbia Counties in New York and Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in Connecticut. With more than 30 years of experience, we design and build terraces, stone walls, courtyards, entry gardens, and outdoor living spaces, complemented by distinctive planting, specimen trees, orchards, vegetable gardens, and pollinator meadows. We also create interior plant displays and seasonal container arrangements. From initial concepts and detailed design through construction, planting, and ongoing maintenance, we bring architecture, craftsmanship, and horticultural expertise together to create beautiful, enduring spaces tailored to the way our clients live.

Our work spans estate garden design, stonework and garden architecture, water features and ponds and garden maintenance. Gardens by Providence Design have been featured in Martha Stewart Living, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens and Villegiardini (see press).
