Antique English Terra Cotta Pots

Description:
Three sizes of pots were from a multi generation commercial nursery in England, long since replaced by lighter and cheaper plastic. They were purchased as an entire lot, and even included the crates in which they were stored. The patina from decades of constant use is fabulous. All were originally hand thrown, many of them detailed with scored shadow lines or imprinted with the maker's name. There are still bits of straw that was put between pots when crated up for the off season.
